In the wake of the #METOO movement and Kavanaugh trial, this is a portrait of one of the women present at the hearing.
Inspired by the photo portraying women's expressions behind Kavanaugh; I wanted to embody the revolution happening in the fight for women's rights. It shines as an impressionist piece, that focuses not on the subject's association, but her facial expression. The firey colors consuming the once calm tones of blue represent the rise of women empowerment in the me too movement, putting my own views on this subject's narrative.
