Hi! My name is Sarah Donnelly and I am a young artist from Virginia Beach, and current alumni at Saint Michael's College in Burlington, Vermont. There, I played division II soccer and graduated with a BA in art&design and art-education. I am thrilled to begin my graduate studies in art therapy at Drexel University in the fall of 2020.

​My favorite genre is portraiture and my preferred medium is oil paint. At Saint Michael's College I studied art theory and art history while challenging my technique to further my artistic repertoire and create a style that is unique to me. In addition to my art courses, my education courses and student teaching internship gave me the amazing experience of working with a variety of differently-abled students. While teaching these students I was able to witness just how beneficial the creative process is.

 

​I am motivated more than ever to better learn how I can professionally use art as a way to heal others the way it has always healed me.
